Rough Terrain Crane is a heavy-duty mobile lifting machine specifically engineered for reliable operation on uneven, soft, and challenging ground conditions. It is widely used in construction sites, infrastructure projects, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, shipyards, and remote locations where conventional cranes cannot operate efficiently.
Rough terrain cranes are mounted on a rigid two-axle chassis with large, deep-tread tires and 4-wheel drive / 4-wheel steering, ensuring excellent maneuverability and traction on unpaved surfaces. The crane is typically powered by a high-performance diesel engine that drives both the carrier and the superstructure, allowing independent and efficient operation.
The lifting system consists of a telescopic hydraulic boom manufactured from high-strength structural steel, providing high lifting capacity and extended reach. Outriggers with wide working spans ensure maximum stability during lifting operations, even under heavy loads and at long radii. Advanced load moment indicators (LMI) continuously monitor operating parameters to prevent overload and unsafe working conditions.
Modern rough terrain cranes are equipped with advanced hydraulic systems, proportional controls, and ergonomic operator cabins offering excellent visibility and comfort. Safety features include emergency stop systems, anti-two block protection, automatic level control, swing locks, and real-time diagnostics. Optional features such as auxiliary hoists, jib extensions, remote control, and onboard telemetry systems further enhance operational flexibility.
Designed and manufactured in compliance with international standards such as EN 13000, CE, and ISO, rough terrain cranes deliver high lifting performance, durability, and reliability in the most demanding environments, making them an essential lifting solution for projects requiring mobility, power, and precision on rough ground.
Boom
The up 105T3RT incorporates a rectangular boom shape made from 690 MPa steel which eliminates weight and maximizes structural capacities.
9m – 31 m four-section, synchronized full power boom.
Maximum tip height: 42 m.
OUTRIGGERS JACKS
Allows to protect the cylinder rod from sand, dust, oils and various element you can find on a jobsite.
The outriggers can be fixed in 3 different positions: fully retracted, 50 % and 100 %.
Four hydraulic telescoping single-stage double box beam outriggers with inverted jacks
and integral holding valves. Three position setting, 0%, 50%and fully extended. All
steel fabricated quick release type outrigger floats, 400 mm square. Maximum outrigger
pad load : 27000 kg
Controls and crane level indicator located in cab.
Fixed Swingaway Extension
8 m offsettable swingaway extension. Offsets at 0° and 30°. Stows alongside base
boom section. Maximum tip height: 42 m.
Boom Nose
Three nylatron sheaves mounted on heavy duty tapered roller bearings with removable
pin-type rope guards. Quick reeve type boom nose.
Boom Elevation
One double-acting hydraulic cylinder with integral holding valve provides
elevation max 80°.
Rough Terrain Operator Cabin

Cab
Full vision, all steel fabricated with acoustical lining and tinted safety glass throughout.
Deluxe seat incorporates armrest-mounted electric dual-axis controllers.Dash panel in-
corporates gauges for all engine functions. Other standard features include: tilt steering
wheel, hot water heater , cab circulating air fan, sliding side and rear windows, sliding
skylight with electric wiper and sunscreen, electric windshield wash/wipe, fire extin-
guisher and seat belt.
Load Moment & Anti-Two Block System
Standard “Graphic Display” load moment and anti-two block system with audio-visual
warning and control lever lockout. These systems provide
electronic display of boom angle, length, radius, tip height, relative load
moment, maximum permissible load, load indication and warning of
impending two-block condition. The standard Work Area Definition System allows the
operator to pre-select and define safe working areas. If the crane approaches the pre-set
limits, audio-visual warnings aid the operator in avoiding job-site obstructions.
